Clean Harbors in East Chicago, IN is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. Team members will be primarily responsible for safe and compliant transfer of bulk materials from tankers to railcars.   * Driver's license required * Availability to work a flexible schedule is required * Average an 8-10+ hour day.  Overtime after 40 hrs.  * Possible overnight travel, hotel and per diem provided * Hours and schedule are not guaranteed, and will vary with emergency response needs   Note this position requires new hires to attend our two-week Academy training out of state.
