EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation is an advantage.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail with good problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Assist in carrying out workplace risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Support the review and updating of safety statements, policies, and procedures.
• Help to monitor and track safety performance indicators.
• Participate in incident/accident investigations and maintain related records.
• Assist in delivering health and safety training sessions.
• Update and maintain safety documentation and databases.
• Support the coordination of emergency drills and safety campaigns.
• Contribute to initiatives promoting wellbeing and a positive safety culture.
