POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Safety and Health Manager to support our satellite production facilities in Midland/Odessa, Texas. This position will focus on occupational safety and health programs, including regulatory compliance and injury prevention.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of occupational health and safety or related experienceOR
• Master’s Degree and 3 years of related experience

EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 5 years (with Bachelor’s) or 3 years (with Master’s) in occupational health and safety or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in environmental health or occupational safety
• Previous experience in DoD, Military, or Aerospace facilities
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)

• Review and interpret existing and proposed EHS regulations to determine applicability and impact on operations; assist with implementation of EHS programs to ensure compliance.
• Partner with site leadership to continuously improve the culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS programs.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation.
• Conduct audits, industrial hygiene (IH) sampling, ergonomic assessments, and safety inspections.
• Create and update Job Hazard Analyses.
• Participate in tooling design and project reviews; provide regulatory requirements and recommendations for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assist in accident/incident investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver EHS training, including instructor-led sessions.
• Participate in regulatory agency and external customer inspections; follow up on findings.
• Interface with employee-based safety committees, senior management, and other functional support groups to address safety concerns.
• Implement EHS management systems, sector-level programs, and associated documentation to proactively eliminate or reduce workplace hazards.
• Support site environmental compliance and sustainability programs as needed.
