Description Summary The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Technician supports the implementation and maintenance of workplace safety and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. The EHS Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to: Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Assist with developing and/or reviewing safety training content. · Deliver safety training content to employees. · Lead daily EHS departmental audits and checks. · Participate in EHS inspections, propose corrective actions, and track items to closure. · Participate in investigating safety incidents and concerns and proposing corrective actions. · Support daily EHS activities and program maintenance, as appropriate, to ensure compliance. with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations. · Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives. Skills and Experience · Skilled in using computer software, particularly Microsoft Excel. · Ability to work within a team and work independently to identify EHS issues and develop containment and remediation actions. · Knowledge in machine and equipment safety including automation. · Familiarity with all current Federal, State (MIOSHA) and Local environmental and safety regulations. · Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasion skills. · Authorized to work in the United States.
