We are seeking a motivated and collaborative team player to support our Program Leader (Environmental Health Projects) in delivering impactful projects and programs. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental health assessments on proposed developments and provide reports and policy advice to Council staff and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake routine environmental health inspections, investigate complaints and reports on possible breaches of food hygiene, and environmental and public health legislation.
  • Enforce laws and regulations related to environmental health and public health.
  • Develop and implement environmental health programs and policies.
  • Provide advice and education to the public, businesses, and other stakeholders on environmental health issues.
