Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager - Middle East and Asia
Location: UAE Office
Region: Middle East and Asia

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 7 years’ experience in warehouse management in the media & entertainment service delivery business or a business where inventory comes and goes from the warehouse
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Formal health & safety certifications
  • Proven people management and cross-cultural leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-country teams and manage remote coordination
  • Ability to interpret technical equipment specifications and seek assistance when needed.
  • Quick adaptability to new processes and software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for implementing a culture of safety and efficiency in our warehouse and remote operations. Setting policy and KPI to ensure NEP’s delivers top-notch service on the ever-changing requirements of the sports media and entertainment service delivery business in a safe and efficient manner. The role will set process and KPI to create efficient inbound and outbound processes, ensuring that all systems are complete, checked and packed well. In addition, as EHS is a growing part of NEP’s differentiation, the Manager of EHS will support the sales teams with RFP responses detailing the NEP difference.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Warehouse Management & Audit (Depot and Transport & storage)
  • Set policy and KPIs for a multi-country team responsible for the warehouses we operate working in a collaborative manner with various stakeholders.
  • Implement safety procedures at each location and create a culture of safety 1st without compromising efficiency and accuracy.
  • Customer Site Compliance, safety and security
  • Recommend safety practices to be followed on site, working with our engineering department and clients as required
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis of implementing changes to current practice
  • Commercial support and response to RFP
  • Support sales with RFP responses related to EHS
  • Business continuity and Risk assessment
  • Implement a comprehensive risk assessment program, including risks and mitigation options to projects we are bidding on
  • Implement a robust business continuity program that is complimentary with group plans.
