We support the management team in complying with the local laws and regulations as well as in the implementation of the internal Baker Hughes HSE management system. Partner with the best As an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist - Health and Safety, you will be responsible for: Individuals with expertise in a specific area, such as industrial hygiene, injury & illness, ergonomics, electrical safety, process safety management, etc. and/or providing general health & safety advice and support for multiple sites or a region. Advises Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in their own field. Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Contributes to projects as a team member or leads small projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science background. Have 9+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety. Have a Minimum of 8 additional years of experience in Health and Safety. Have strong oral and written communication skills. Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
