Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Environmental Technician to join our team with a focus on emergency response. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to environmental incidents 24/7, ensuring the prompt and efficient implementation of emergency response procedures. Safety is our top priority, and the Environmental Technician will play a crucial role in mitigating environmental risks while prioritizing the well-being of both personnel and the environment. Technicians that do best are those that can accept the challenge of working conditions that include being outside, at heights, in confined spaces, in heat and able to follow safe work procedures. What are the qualifications for the tech position? Relevant certifications in emergency response and hazardous materials handling (e.g., 40 hour HAZWOPER) Ability to operate specialized equipment and tools used in emergency response Availability for on-call duty and response 24/7 Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed Proven experience in environmental emergency response, with a focus on safety. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
