At Opti, it's possible to 'design anywhere, build anywhere' given our company lives in the cloud! The Environmental Marketing Operations intern will be a remote position. At Opti, we are a passionate team of water experts and technologists driven to protect our communities, infrastructure, and the environment from the impacts of stormwater runoff. We believe the stormwater management challenges facing communities today require performance improvements, adaptive capacity, and operational transparency that only digital approaches can deliver. Opti is the creator and leading provider of Continuous Monitoring and Adaptive Control (CMAC) solutions. Opti's software products provide solutions to multiple, often competing, stormwater objectives, providing customers with economic savings, resiliency and peace of mind since 2007. Overview The Marketing Intern will be primarily focused on assisting the Sales & Marketing teams in its go-to-market strategy and content development to engage key audiences involved in the buying process. The Marketing Team is responsible for guiding Opti’s go-to-market strategy and the effective articulation of the company’s value proposition to customers, partners, and prospects. You will be working with a team of passionate and talented marketers, business development leaders, and software and civil engineers who are committed to Opti’s vision of more efficient cities and safer and cleaner water. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Supporting the Marketing and Sales teams with content development (written and graphic form), campaign management, event planning, and social media posts. Conducting industry and account-based research to identify industry trends, target markets, customers, and partners. Basic Qualifications Currently enrolled in a degree program related to marketing, communications, environmental science, engineering, or related fields Solid, demonstrated understanding of various marketing techniques Excellent communication and presentation skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail and quality Preferred Candidate Skills Knowledge of environmental science, especially stormwater management, is preferred Preferred knowledge of Salesforce and Pardot Opti will participate in the MassCEC Clean Energy Internship Program for this position. Program eligibility requires students to attend, or have recently graduated within the past year from, a Massachusetts college or university, or they must be a Massachusetts resident, with proof of residency, who attended an out-of-state college or university.
