Piper Companies is currently seeking an Environmental Monitoring Specialist to support a reputable cell therapy company in Branchburg, NJ.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING SPECIALIST

• 1+ years of experience in environmental monitoring, microbiology, or GMP manufacturing (cell therapy, biologics, or pharma experience preferred).
• Knowledge of cGMP, aseptic technique, and cleanroom operations.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shift schedules as needed.

• Perform routine environmental monitoring sampling (viable and non-viable) in cleanrooms and controlled environments supporting cell therapy manufacturing.
• Collect and document samples for surfaces, personnel, air, and water to ensure compliance with GMP standards.
• Accurately record data and maintain documentation according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to report deviations, support investigations, and contribute to corrective/preventive actions.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies necessary for sampling activities.
