Environmental Permitting Senior Associate Based @ The Ellinikon Offices We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Permitting Senior Associate to join the Urban Planning and Permitting Department. The Environmental Permitting Senior Associate will be reporting to the Environmental Permitting Senior Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible to: Coordinate and conduct reviews of all the future Environmental Impact Studies, Standard Environmental Commitments or any other Environmental permitting Plans and Licenses of Ellinikon Development’s individual building projects prior to the submission to the competent Authorities. In detail, Environmental Permitting Senior Associate, amongst others, will have the following responsibilities: Coordinate and conduct reviews of all the future Environmental Impact Studies, Standard Environmental Commitments or any other Environmental permitting Plans and Licenses of Ellinikon Development’s individual building projects prior to the submission to the competent Authorities. Coordinate and conduct reviews of all the future Amendments of Ellinikon Development’s environmental framework (JMD & PD Amendments) prior to the submission to the competent Authorities. Develop and update the Environmental Permitting strategy and safeguard the compliance of the individual projects to the environmental framework of the Ellinikon Development. Assist, advice and consult all parties on the environmental terms and restrictions of the Ellinikon Development. Research and determine the best strategies for issues related to environmental permitting of the Ellinikon Development. Highlight any risks and the respective mitigation actions according to the projects' needs related to any environmental permitting issues. Advise and consult during the drafting of the “Timelines” of the individual projects for any issues related to environmental permitting. Assist to all official communications with the public permitting Authorities for all the environmental permitting issues. You will be a successful candidate for our opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria: Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Engineering with expertise in Environmental Matters. Master's Degree in Environmental Management / Environmental Protection or any other related. Proficiency level in English. Professional Experience : 5 years of relevant working experience as an Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist or any other related. Possess proficiency and profound work experience in the preparation of Environmental Studies (Environmental Impact Studies, Standard Environmental Commitments or any other Environmental permitting Plans and Licenses). Strong understanding of the Greek legal framework on environmental matters (i.e. Environmental Permitting Process, Waste Management, Stream Delineation etc.). High competency in using the Electronic Environmental Registry (EPRM). Good ability to manage environmental permitting issues. Good knowledge of urban planning and permitting procedures. Proficiency knowledge in AutoCAD (2D and 3D). On a personal side, the ideal candidate should demonstrate: Communication & negotiation skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
