This is an intermediate planning position within our high performing New Zealand planning team. This position offers a variety of work and will see you: * Contributing to the preparation of environmental assessments and planning approval applications for projects throughout New Zealand * Undertaking consultation and liaison with consent authorities, iwi, stakeholders, landowners, public and affected parties  * Providing support and guidance to junior planners  * Managing individual tasks on projects, collaborating effectively with project stakeholders to ensure positive client experience in project delivery  * Working with a national team of planners, including learning from Senior Planners and our highly experienced Technical Directors  * Growing and developing professionally through mentoring, training, and active involvement in professional organisations and our GHD global technical communities * Being part of our diverse, collaborative and supportive GHD culture, with the ability to work flexibly for work-life balance About you: * Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in environmental planning  * Intermediate Membership of the NZPI desired * Experience with district and regional consenting, particularly for infrastructure projects  * Articulate, professional and excellent written and oral communication skills * Flexible in approach to solving problems and dealing with challenges  * Proactive, self-motivated and energetic Click ‘Apply’ to submit your CV or reach out to Zen Chua (zen.chua@ghd.com [zen.chua@ghd.com]) for more information.
