As we continue to enhance our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental responsibility, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead our environmental initiatives and projects across our operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Project Management, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in managing environmental projects, preferably within the food processing or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with environmental management systems such as ISO 14001 is a plus.
Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING AND EXECUTING VARIOUS ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS AIMED AT IMPROVING OUR OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE, WHILE ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT REGULATIONS.

Shift & Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM- onsite
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES



    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of environmental projects aimed at reducing waste, energy use, and carbon emissions in alignment with corporate sustainability goals.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and initiatives across all operational sites.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring milestones are met within budget and timelines.
    • Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and compliance gaps.
    • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and environmental consultants, to ensure project alignment with current regulations and best practices.
    • Prepare and present reports, proposals, and project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Engage and educate employees on environmental sustainability initiatives to promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of environmental projects and initiatives.
    • Identify and pursue funding or grants for sustainability projects as needed.
    • Conduct research on emerging technologies and practices in the field of environmental sustainability to inform project development.
