📍 Finland | Initial 6-Month Contract | Extension Potential A leading international organisation within the data centre and critical infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager / Coordinator to support the delivery of major hyperscale infrastructure projects across Finland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing project environment, supporting environmental strategy, permitting, compliance, and risk management across complex construction and development programmes. Key Responsibilities Lead environmental activities across multiple large-scale infrastructure projects Coordinate and manage external environmental consultants and specialist partners Support site selection and due diligence activities, identifying environmental risks and constraints Drive permitting and regulatory approval strategies to support project timelines Manage environmental risk, compliance, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate closely with engineering, design, construction, procurement, and legal teams Support engagement with authorities, regulators, and key external stakeholders Ensure environmental requirements are integrated into project planning and delivery Oversee environmental compliance through construction and project handover phases Requirements 10+ years of experience in environmental permitting, compliance, or environmental project management Strong background supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects Experience managing complex programmes and multi-disciplinary stakeholders Strong understanding of environmental legislation and permitting processes in Finland Proven ability to manage consultants, regulatory interfaces, and external stakeholders Solid project management skills covering risk, budget, and schedule coordination Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities Previous experience within data centre, energy, industrial, or mission-critical environments would be advantageous Contract Details Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension Finland-based role Opportunity to work on high-profile, large-scale infrastructure developments
Responsibilities
Lead environmental activities, permitting, and compliance for large-scale hyperscale infrastructure projects in Finland. Coordinate with external consultants and internal multidisciplinary teams to manage environmental risks and regulatory approvals.
