The Barry County Health Department is accepting resumes for a full time Environmental Public Health Specialist. 40 hours a week, Monday through Thursday 7:30am – 6:00pm.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 30 credit hours in one or a combination of Biology, Chemistry, Bacteriology, Food Science, Soil Science, Sanitary Science, Environmental Health, or in closely related physical or natural sciences.
Employee will perform routine inspections on food establishments, daycares and lodging facilities, evaluate private well water tests and regulate onsite wastewater treatment systems.
