As a Quality Assurance Analyst I, you are an EarthSoft team member with entry-level experience. You learn your team’s assigned products and assist in testing code written to fix software bugs, meet client requirements, or add new features or functionality. You are a contributing team member who follows standard operating procedures and helps the team succeed. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, Environmental or Geological Sciences, Engineering, Geography, or Management Information Systems. Equivalent experience may be considered.
• 0 – 2+ years of software testing experience (web, desktop, or mobile technologies)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Problem-solving aptitude with an inquisitive and analytical mind
• Strong organizational skills

• Learn and contribute to test plan management activities.
• Assist in the design and implementation of test scenarios.
• Assist in the writing of automated UI tests using Rainforest QA.
• Prepare test data and ensure readiness of test environment prior to test execution.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Write detailed bug reports and test findings.
• Help troubleshoot issues.
• Adhere to test management best practices while conducting the above.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Responsibly handle confidential data per EarthSoft policy.
• Actively participate in team communication and knowledge-sharing during team meetings.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to prepare test environments for feature branch testing.
• Work closely with software developers to define test coverage and achieve the above activities.
