Location: Midway, Halifax Road, Bradford, BD6 2SZ / Hybrid Working. The role is a flexible hybrid working arrangement with an expectation to attend sites across Yorkshire as required.
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Reporting Manager to join the River Health team here at Yorkshire Water by helping us to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Our Environmental Reporting Manager will ensure the quality and accuracy of our environmental performance data supporting our 100% compliance performance targets and meeting our regulatory reporting requirements.
The role will be working with Operational, Technical, and Regulatory departments along with our external regulators.
Your team of Reporting Specialists activities will drive continued improvements and higher performance standards against all performance areas related to environmental compliance within wastewater.
Where you fit in:

As our Environmental Reporting Manager you will:

  • Be accountable by ensuring we have processes in place for delivering accurate environmental data Internally and externally demonstrating compliance with our environmental regulations and clearly representing our environmental performance, safeguard the reputation of the Wastewater business whilst supporting the delivery of the Wastewater ODI performance. This is due to the industry moving to a reliance on regulatory data and compliance data been accurate, transparent, and consistent
  • You will have primary accountability for ensuring key control measures are in place to ensure we deliver 100% compliance with our regulatory requirements
  • Accountable for overseeing all Wastewater Environmental Information Requests (EIR) to protect the company’s reputation, ensure data accuracy and maintain compliance with legal SLAs
  • The delivery of environmental incident reports and action plans in line with specified regulatory SLA’s
  • Responsible for preparing and leading for the company on all internal and 3rd party audits related to areas of environmental performance

What skills & qualifications you will need:

  • Experience working in Wastewater with process understanding
  • Operating within a regulated industry or framework
  • Environment regulatory understanding
  • Experience with implementing Management Systems
  • Processes and procedure creation and improvement
