WinnCompanies is looking for an Environmental Safety and Compliance Manager to join our military housing team at Fort Campbell, KY.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all change of occupancy maintenance (COM), service, and capital projects across the assigned properties as it pertains to environmental and safety compliance. You will also ensure that standards are achieved and sustained in accordance with project objectives, Centinel policy, and federal, state laws, and regulations, and be required to work closely with Centinel Environmental and Safety Managers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental task management.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • A current driver’s license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Ability to complete Centinel Mold Management training upon hire.
  • Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Program certification.
  • OHSA 16 (Asbestos) certification.
  • Experience with environmental growth remediation and abatement.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously.
  • This position is located at a federal facility. In accordance with the REAL ID Act, effective May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver’s license/ID is required in order to access the federal facility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Vocational or technical training.
  • Other certifications in environmental related fields, including RRP.
  • HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and management of all environmental work orders and projects. Ensure that COM, service, and renovations are delivered in a compliant, safe and timely manner as it pertains to environmental and safety policies and procedures. Provide environmental support for supervisors and subcontractors to address scope, quality and compliance concerns.
  • Participate in site safety and environmental programs. Coordinate with senior management, Centinel safety and environmental managers on immediate concerns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that Centinel and military partner environmental and safety policies, procedures, standards and reporting requirements are effectively communicated to all employees.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits of worksites and record keeping. Present findings to senior management and Centinel personnel. Work with senior management and Centinel environmental safety managers on identifying strategies for rectifying identified deficiencies.
  • Serve as key in reviewing and managing policies and plans for personnel response and efforts during emergency situations, such as fires, storms, and floods, during and after normal business hours.
  • Address customer environmental and safety concerns and diffuse minimizing escalation.
  • Promote and practice environmental and safety campaigns including Incident and Injury Free (IIF).
  • Review Yardi and ensure that all required notes and documentation exist for environmental related work orders.
