The Environmental Safety & Training Manager responsibility is to lead our company's efforts in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote sustainable practices across our organization. This position assesses company-wide needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Develops training programs and objectives. Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence. Provide training and education to employees on safety protocols, environmental policies, and emergency response procedures. Collaborate with various departments to integrate safety and environmental considerations into operational processes. Stay current with evolving regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to environmental health and safety. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in EHS management within a manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations. Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyze complex safety data. Certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) is preferred.
