Our highly regarded Environmental team in Darwin is seeking Professional to Principal Environmental Scientists and Engineers to support a wide range of exciting and meaningful projects across the Defence, government, mining, and energy sectors. At AECOM’s Darwin office, you’ll gain hands-on experience in: Environmental impact assessment and approvals Contaminated land investigations and remediation Hydrology, hydrogeology, and water quality monitoring Biodiversity surveys and ecological assessments Environmental management planning and auditing Project Management You’ll get the best of both worlds – the agency of working in a small office with the support and capacity of one of the world’s largest engineering consultancies. What will a day in this role look like: Conducting fieldwork in diverse and remote environments across the NT and beyond Supporting or leading the preparation of environmental assessments, management plans, and technical reports Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused outcomes Engaging with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to support project delivery and business development efforts Contributing to a positive team culture and collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment Experience managing environmental projects end-to-end, including scope, timelines, budgets and coordination with clients and internal teams (desirable) Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
