Environmental scientist (Senior) with 8+ years’ experience required to join one of the most renowned Engineering Consultancies in Ireland. Our client is one of the leading providers of Water & Wastewater engineering services both in Ireland and internationally. The successful Environmental scientist will be responsible for the planning and design of a range of Water & Wastewater services projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and work on challenging projects. The successful environmental scientist will be able to choose which office they’d like to be based out of nationwide.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A level 8/9 degree in environmental science or related discipline
• The successful environmental scientist should have a minimum of 8+ years relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in environmental impact assessments and planning
• Strong knowledge of relevant Irish and European planning and environmental legislation, guidelines and regulatory frameworks
• The successful environmental scientist should have proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
• Professional certifications or memberships in relevant professional bodies (e.g., IEMA, CIWEM) are advantageous.
