THIS OPPORTUNITY WSP is excited to announce an opportunity for an Environmental Service Line Leader position within our Texas/Louisiana practice. This senior leadership position will oversee our Site Investigation and Remediation teams throughout the region. This position can be located in the follow locations or in close proximity:  Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, Texas; New Orleans or Baton Rouge, Louisiana.     Specifically, the ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with a seller/doer focus, and will lead client development, operational execution, strategic leadership, and quality performance.  The Service Line Leader will work with a group of 5-7 reporting managers and associated teams, as well as Regional Leadership to ensure a healthy, grow-focused business.   The role ensures client satisfaction, technical excellence, financial performance, and sustainable growth of the Site Investigation and Remediation practice in alignment with WSP’s business objectives and values.  Our clients include a diverse mix of industrial, power and energy, oil and gas, and governmental organizations. YOUR IMPACT * Own and grow the TXLA Site Investigation and Remediation business through external/internal client engagement, operation execution, and fiscal year business plan delivery. * Serve as a senior client interface for key clients, supporting client satisfaction, new business opportunities and growth. * Contribute to the strategic direction of the Site Investigation and Remediation service line at the regional and/or national level. * Responsible for annual business planning and achieving service line revenue, utilization, and profitability targets. * Represent WSP externally as a recognized leader in Site Investigation and Remediation services. * Support proposal development, scope definition, pricing strategy, and risk management for pursuits. * Oversee the technical, financial and contractual performance of projects in collaboration with Project Managers and Leadership. * Provide technical review and guidance on complex or high-risk projects as required. * Collaborate with Team Leads and Regional Leadership to ensure appropriate staffing, capability development, and succession planning for the service line. * Mentor and develop technical staff, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, inclusion, and professional growth. * Champion WSP’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture across all SIR activities. WHO YOU ARE Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrology, or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, or a related field * At least 15 years of post-education environmental consulting experience * Texas or Louisiana professional registration (e.g., P.E., P.G.), or ability and willingness to obtain * Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients * Proven leadership skills and experience in managing complex projects and large teams * Experience managing the overall delivery of projects, including project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management * Detailed understanding of soil and groundwater remediation regulations * Detailed understanding of Texas and Louisiana regulations * Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams * Ability and willingness to travel within region and occasionally outside region * Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel Preferred Qualifications * Advanced degree in the same fields * Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers   #LI-LD1 About WSP WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
