Working in a 224 bed Long Term Care Home along the eastern edge of the City of Brockville. Thanks to our environmental services team, we provide a clean home environment to our residents!

• Grade 12 Diploma, (enclose a copy of your O.S.S.D. with application unless there is a copy on file)
• Preferable two years of job-related experience. Experience dealing with the elderly an asset.
• Completed all mandatory online training prior to orientation
• Accurate reading, writing and comprehensive skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, public and staff
• Physical ability/agility to perform all duties assigned
• Ability to use all equipment in carrying out departmental procedures and routines. Must be capable of performing medium to heavy labour including lifting, pushing and/or moving equipment of items required, utilizing proper body mechanics
• Must be physically able to stand and walk for lengthy periods of time
• Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of changing duties within set standards
• Available to work all shifts on weekdays and weekend
