ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and reliable team member who takes pride in creating a clean and safe environment. You will bring:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (healthcare experience highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of hygiene practices, infection control, and Workplace Health & Safety procedures.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong time management, efficiency, and stamina for extended periods on your feet.
  • A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across the hospital, in line with infection control guidelines. You will contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors while assisting with stock control and departmental upkeep.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform cleaning tasks to meet our infection control guidelines across all areas of the hospital.
  • Making beds.
  • Follow infection control procedures and hospital hygiene standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the team while maintaining a professional and respectful approach.
  • Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster is essential.
