Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Environmental Services Assistant is responsible in providing a safe, clean Ward/Unit environment in accordance with Infection Control and Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
Under direction and supervision of Environmental Service Coordinator, you will provide effective support contributing to the operational support of the hospital. You will be working within a fast-paced team-focused environment within the Shepparton Private Hospital.

JOINING OUR TEAM, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Highest standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres.
  • Ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
  • Waste removal tasks
  • Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
  • Adhere to all infection control guidelines and principles.
