Department: 844000 Environmental Svcs Expectations: Answers phones, dispatches personnel and takes requests for Environmental Services and Linen services. Works under minimal supervision of the manager and supervisor in a fast-paced environment following department guidelines and procedures. Will also maintain and process various reports and work orders. Works closely with Supervisor to meet the needs of the Environmental Service. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility of hours and eligible for overtime pay. EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework preferred. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Proven experience with clerical work. SKILLS: Computer Skills: word doc, excel, windows or equivalent. Ability to handle multiple tasks and type 30 wpm. Must complete the required training program within the defined probationary period. Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus. Ability to read, follow instructions, and use basic math skills required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Must be flexible and adapt easily to changes in schedule, work assignments and environment.
