Cleveland Clinic’s Environmental Services Department is consistently among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare, and we’re looking to add an Environmental Services Floor Technician to our team to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect. The Environmental Services Floor Technician role is a steppingstone to other careers within Environmental Services and other departments within Cleveland Clinic. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:30AM – 4:00PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Create a sanitary and safe environment that enhances the appearance of the facility. Clean assigned areas daily. Maintain hard floor surfaces through stripping, refinishing, mopping, buffing, and auto-scrubbing. Maintain carpets through shampooing, extraction, gum removal, and daily maintenance. Complete waste stream removal including general waste, recycling and infectious waste. Responsibilities
The Environmental Services Floor Technician is responsible for creating a sanitary and safe environment by cleaning assigned areas daily and maintaining hard floor surfaces and carpets. This role also includes waste stream removal and ensuring the facility meets cleanliness standards.
