Performs tasks of moderate difficulty in a variety of supervisory roles to ensure a high standard of cleaning and safety for our customers. Handles day to day environmental services operational issues. Directly supervises 1 to 25 employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable laws/or regulations. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. EVS Leads will ensure cleaning tech daily work is completed; cleaning of patient rooms, discharges, cleaning of outpatient areas and support rooms or other tasks as assigned. Adjusts schedule to accommodate project work being done – hours of day and break times, lifting and moving equipment, exam tables, etc., maintain prolonged kneeling and bending when working on edges and baseboards during project work, Cleans equipment used in daily work tasks Qualifications Experience: Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. One year of housekeeping experience in a health care facility or environmental services preferred. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
