Rotating - 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley job. A Brief Overview An EVS porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and orderly appearance of a facility. Key duties include cleaning common areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms), removing trash and regulated medical waste, performing light grounds maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness in non-patient care areas. Locations Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley What you will do Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning windows or glass surfaces in public and non-patient care areas. Floor Care: Scrub and buff hard flooring, shampoo and extract carpet. Trash Removal: Daily disposal of waste from soiled utilities, common areas, offices, and perimeter grounds. Restroom Upkeep: Ensuring restrooms are sanitized, clean, and fully stocked with supplies. Exterior Maintenance: Cleaning parking lots, walkways, and maintaining the "curb appeal" of the property. Safety Monitoring: Reporting maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management. Employees must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the C-I-CARE Standards of the Hospital. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Required Experience Qualifications Previous experience Preferred Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Communicates and coordinates with clinical and non-clinical staff Communicates and coordinates with service line leads Basic computer skills. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to communicate effectively in writing. Must have excellent organization skills. Detail oriented Ability to anticipate and change with the environment as needed Ability to maintain the physical demands of the job, push/pull heavy equipment - 50lbs Knowledge of safety, quality and joint commission standards as it relates to the department. Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $25.76 - $34.00 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
