Cleveland Clinic’s Environmental Services (EVS) Department is consistently ranked among the highest-performing EVS teams in healthcare. As Team Lead, you will work to create the comfortable and safe environment our patients have come to expect by ensuring all assigned facility areas are clean, fully stocked and organized. Your efforts help enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and assist other caregivers in providing attentive patient care. A caregiver in this position works evenings from 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Conduct general training for new caregivers in floor care, wall washing, carpet cleaning and special procedures. Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces. Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation. Stock paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated. Maintain cart and equipment in clean, working condition and store in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: High School Diploma or GED Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others in coordinating multiple tasks Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: One year of experience in Environmental Services Leadership experience or experience providing work direction Strong customer service skills Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
