Job Details Job Location: Layfair MSCC Campus - Flowood, MS 39232 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Environmental Services Tech I is responsible for overall cleaning using the 7-step cleaning procedure Cleans patient rooms, isolation, & discharge cleaning Other required duties may be handling trash, bio-hazard waste and sharps containers. Refill paper, soap, towels, batteries, hand sanitizers etc. The incumbent is responsible for securing environmental services, cleaning carts, making proper use of wet floor signs, using .standard precautions etc. All other duties as assigned Shift Full-Time 7:00am - 3:30pm Every Other Weekend Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent or 1-2 years' experience 2 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred Physical Demands Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 pounds) Prolonged extensive or considerable standing/walking Lifts supplies and equipment Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies Manual dexterity and mobility is required Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching is required We Offer Competitive pay A comprehensive, flexible, benefit package to all full-time employees (32 hours plus per week) Medical and dental coverage beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment 403b Retirement Life insurance
