Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Layfair MSCC Campus - Flowood, MS 39232 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: First Shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.) Environmental Service Techn II is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, & bonneting of areas that include offices, patient rooms, boardrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas such as cafeterias Other required duties may be assigned by the supervisor such as light maintenance (cleaning inside light bulb covers, air conditioner vents, etc.) Also responsible for trash removal, Regulated Medical Waste removal and soiled linen collection All other duties as assigned Shift Full-Time 7:00am - 3:30pm Every Other Weekend Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 2 years of previous housekeeping experience Physical Demands Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 pounds) Prolonged extensive or considerable standing/walking Lifts supplies and equipment Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies Manual dexterity and mobility is required Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching is required We Offer Competitive pay A comprehensive, flexible, benefit package to all full-time employees (32 hours plus per week) Medical and dental coverage beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment 403b Retirement Life insurance
