Description RESPONSIBILITIES: Assigned to clean and disinfect surgical, procedural, and specialized areas such as Sterile Processing. Cleans and maintains various floors surfaces. This includes carpet, wood, marble, vinyl, vct, stone, tile, slate etcPerforms floor care using equipment such as ride-on, walk-behind, and manual operated machines for scrubbing, buffing, and polishing of floors. Apply wax and other floor care products under the guidance of EVS Leadership. Cleans, polishes furniture/fixtures in assigned areas and arranges furniture and/or equipment as directed. Dispose of biochemical waste in accordance with policy and procedures. Cleans floors with vacuums, dust mops, and/or wet mops. Collects and removes trash and recyclable items and deposits to designated area. Maintains security and confidentiality of areas by locking/unlocking doors and performing related functions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Extensive environmental services or custodial experience. Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions. Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50-75 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist. JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!
