Job Details Job Location: Windsor (CMC) - Champaign, IL 61822 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.76 Hourly Job Category: Environmental Services/Housekeeping Christie Clinic's department of Housekeeping is seeking a part-time (20 hours/week and benefit eligible) Environmental Services Technician I from Monday-Friday 5:00pm-9:00pm at the Windsor clinic in Champaign. Duties include cleaning and supplying offices, exam rooms, laboratory and special medical procedure rooms. Cleaning of walls, lights, windows, vents, floors, carpets, sinks, rest room facilities, counter tops and other appropriate areas is required. Qualifications JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Clean floors, rooms and offices following established schedules and methods. Maintain equipment in a clean and orderly manner and re-stock supplies, as needed. Transport trash and soiled linen from collection points to designated area. Dust surfaces, damp wipe furniture and clean and polish metal and porcelain fixtures in bathroom. Assist in cleaning emergency spills as observed or requested. Sanitize and sterilize clinic areas and remove carpet spots. Deliver inventory to various departments with a minimum of interference to department function. Perform related work as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 2 Years of Housekeeping Experience Additional appropriate education may be substituted for two years of experience or related service industry experience CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: None TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting up to 75 pounds. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of maintenance equipment is required. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a combination of office laboratory, exam room and special medical procedure rooms. Frequent exposure to dirty and unsanitary conditions, harsh cleaning agents, toxic chemicals, contaminated wastes and bodily fluids is common. Requirements include working evenings, weekends and irregular hours. PAY AND BENEFITS: The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
