Description The Facilities Management Department at Elizabethtown College is accepting applications for a (part-time) Environmental Services Worker. The primary purpose of this position is to complete custodial and cleaning duties for all campus buildings and events while interacting positively with all members of the College. This position will work 20 hours per week, daytime hours and may include occasional weekends. Duties include: Clean restrooms; Dust mop, wet mop, and/or vacuum floors; Empty wastebaskets and collect trash; Clean classrooms, offices, lounges, restrooms, locker rooms, hallways, and stairwells; Dust furniture, clean blackboards, and wipe walls; Operate floor and carpet machinery; Maintain all outside entrance areas free of debris and snow; Complete bio-hazard clean-up training and provide this service; Transport supplies and stock closets; Other duties as assigned, such as, but not limited to snow removal and event set-ups Requirements High school diploma or GED and at least one year of custodial experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a valid driver’s license for travel purposes & tasks around campus (individual must have a US driver’s license for at least three years; a motor vehicle record check will be run and the incumbent must pass the College’s MVR rating system).
