WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Environmental Specialist - Air Quality (Environmental Consultant) in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time spent in the Milwaukee office.
The position also requires occasional travel throughout southeast Wisconsin. One must be available to work outside of normal business hours as needed (i.e. weekends and nights).
This position is part of a job family (Environmental Consultant, Senior Environmental Consultant, and Principal Environmental Consultant) where experience will be the determining factor.

JOB SUMMARY
The Environmental Consultant is the responsible for all compliance activities related to generating facilities and other combined reporting for the generating fleet. This position tracks Federal and State air quality regulations. Additionally, this position will be the subject matter expert (SME) for our New Source Review (NSR) air permitting program and the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) process, with a near-term emphasis on supporting our 5-year capital plan.
