Job Summary Under moderate direction, performs basic tasks according to highly specific departmental policies and procedures in order to maintain an aseptic, safe, clean, and attractive environment for the hospital. Essential Functions Vacuum/Sweep Dust Mop/Damp Mop Remove Trash/Soiled Linen Use Chemicals to clean/polish Interact with Patients/Guests/Staff Low Dust/High Dust Disinfect/Terminally Clean Patient Contact Surfaces Replace Supplies (i.e., paper products, soap, etc.) Complete miscellaneous cleaning tasks, as assigned Range of Pay Pay starting at $15.00. Qualifications Required Ability to understand simple oral instructions and communicate simple job-related problems. Preferred High school graduate or equivalent. Responsibilities

The Environmental Specialist I is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment in the hospital. This includes performing various cleaning tasks and interacting with patients, guests, and staff.
