Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Staff Engineer II, you’ll work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and junior staff to design, guide, and implement environmental remediation efforts. You’ll take ownership of projects, mentor up-and-coming engineers, and ensure excellence from field to final report.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Designing and guiding environmental field investigations and pilot tests (air sparge, SVE, injections, etc.)
  • Leading and reviewing development of engineering documents: P&IDs, BOMs, Basis of Design, Process Flow Diagrams
  • Mentoring junior engineers and overseeing subcontractors in the field
  • Analyzing lab data and environmental samples to drive project decisions
  • Preparing clear, technically accurate reports and communicating with clients
  • Leading Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs) and managing action items
  • Tracking budgets, timelines, and contributing to project execution strategy
  • Assisting with system installations, startup plans, and O&M plans
  • Staying current with industry best practices, regulatory frameworks, and technical innovations
