The Environmental Team Lead is to provide on- and off-site support for Project & Construction Management to proactively identify and reduce, avoid or mitigate environmental risks in order to maintain construction schedule and Environmental/ Regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, Wildlife or related field required.

Responsibilities

Review and understand environmental compliance requirements and/or wildlife biologist.
Maintain a positive, friendly & solution-focused attitude in order to provide excellent customer service to the Project Construction & Management team(s)
Direct and implement environmental compliance programs on Projects (i.e.: develop/implement Environmental Protection or Mitigation Plans)
Proactively identify and report to the Project Environment Manager any major or unforeseen environmental issues and/or considerations (i.e.: timing restrictions, species at risk, access, etc);
Knowledge and research on Endangered Species and Habitat..
Knowledge and research on Storm and Water Pollution Prevention.
Experience managing large scale energy projects.
