The Environmental team works on a wide range of projects for both public and private clients. They are currently seeking an Environmental Technician to join their team in the Bridgeport, WV office location

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology or other discipline.
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in performing field wetland delineations.
  • Overall knowledge of the permitting process and prior experience and coordinating permit applications is highly desired.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills. Ability to write descriptive and technically accurate reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying and classifying streams and wetlands
  • Environmental compliance and inspection
  • Wetland assessment and delineation field efforts, collect appropriate wetland field data relative to wetland vegetation, soils and hydrology
  • Prepare reports for review.
  • Assist in the preparation of other environmental regulatory compliance documents.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
  • Document field observations and site conditions accurately and thoroughly.
  • Prepare detailed project reports that meet company, client, and agency standards.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, including milestones and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the overall success of projects by collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
