Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
This opportunity will allow you to play a crucial role in implementing various environmental field programs, where you will be hands-on with activities like water management, erosion control, and environmental emergency response. You will also have the chance to develop your technical writing skills by creating daily management plans and logs, while recording key environmental data. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of various environmental field programs.
- Inspect, monitor, and conduct environmental field activities, including water management, erosion and sediment control, dust management, noise monitoring, environmental sample collection (soil, water), and environmental emergency response (spills).
- Create daily dust management plans, daily dust logs, daily environmental inspection logs, maintain a key environmental issues tracking log, and handle spill reporting.
- Record key environmental field data.
- Occasionally assist with ESC installation, replace dust station batteries, move environmental monitoring equipment, and respond to spills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Environmental Lead/Environmental Manager.
