Join our growing Site Assessment and Remediation Team in Ottawa and help tackle some of the most complex environmental challenges facing our communities. As a Field Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in monitoring, investigating, remediating, and reclaiming contaminated sites while working alongside multidisciplinary experts across Canada. Your Impact

• Conduct environmental field programs including groundwater monitoring, soil sampling, drilling investigations, and remediation activities.
• Collect, document, and manage environmental data and samples in accordance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Prepare and implement site-specific health and safety plans that protect workers, clients, and the public.
• Identify, assess, and report site hazards, near misses, and incidents to support a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate field activities, equipment, subcontractors, and project logistics to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Support remediation and reclamation programs by overseeing contractors, tracking waste, and documenting project progress.
• Contribute to technical reports, field documentation, and project records that inform environmental decision-making.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and technical professionals to deliver sustainable solutions for clients and communities.

The Skills That Set You Apart

• Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with soil and groundwater sampling is considered an asset.
• Understanding of environmental field investigation and contaminated sites practices.
• Knowledge of field health and safety requirements and a demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate field notes and project documentation.
• Experience coordinating field activities, subcontractors, or environmental contractors is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle with willingness to travel to project sites as required.
