ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and/or property services.
  • Understanding of NSW Trustee and Guardian’s key services and customer base including experience working and/or supporting people with disability, vulnerable or older people.
  • Willingness to have phone calls and team email accounts monitored for quality assurance and training purposes, and to participate in one-to-one review sessions for calls and emails.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role Supports Property Services and Property Rectification project teams to undertake a range of quality reviews including procuring relevant property related reports, research, analysis, evaluation, reporting, implementation, and administrative activities. This work informs practice improvement and supports the property rectification project to deliver positive customer outcomes, in line with operational plans, project priorities and objectives.
This role is also reviewing our portfolio to ensure all commercial and all properties over 2 hectares are correctly and adequately insured.
This role is also part of a project team required to independently review property inspection reports, including safety and compliance reports and provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance to ensure insurance can be retained for customer owned properties.

During your day-to-day, you will:

  • Assist in providing a range of project management and support services, including obtaining relevant property related reports, preparation of submissions and briefs, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
  • Collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of project complies with agreed project management methodology.
  • Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs and customer related submissions to support informed decision making and planning.
  • Assist the Property Services team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved.
  • Support managers in the designing and implementation of tools and processes to identify and analyse emerging trends and facilitate improvements to Estate Management service design and service delivery.
  • Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee meetings and preparing papers, to support project management delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with Estate Management teams to ensure processes are working effectively, establish ways to collaborate and meet regularly on customer matters; and contribute to quality assurance processes.
