Description
As a Customer Support Centre Operator, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, responsive, and efficient support services to Defence personnel. Reporting to the Customer Operations Centre Manager, you’ll manage data, resolve queries, and ensure compliance with Defence policies, contributing to operational excellence across the national service delivery network. This role will ideally be based in Sydney, however consideration will be given to other locations. Key Responsibilities Provide customer support via online ordering systems, voice channels, and self-service ticketing. Manage data across Ventia and Defence systems including inventory tracking, procurement, and distribution. Administer user access, reset passwords, and verify online orders. Conduct reporting and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure compliance with contract terms and Defence policies. Support national operations including vehicle and equipment relocations. Promote a positive Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) culture What You’ll Bring Experience in customer service, online environments, or support roles. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a small team. Proficiency in Windows applications and Defence systems such as PIMS and MILIS. Certificate in office administration or equivalent experience (preferred) Special Requirements Must be an Australian Citizen eligible to hold and maintain Defence Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2, or PV). Must pass an Australian Federal Police check and maintain a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
