Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Ensure delivery of engineering support services in accordance with the requirements of the contract
  • Provide expert engineering advice, subject matter expertise, and decision support to Defence executives, managers, staff, and industry partners
  • Exercise technical oversight and assurance over all engineering activities via the lifecycle of systems engineering, configuration control, and material support processes
  • Provide governance of technical certification of systems including compliance with standards, specifications and regulations
  • Manage the required systems engineering lifecycle services including requirements determination, integration, verification and validations, test and evaluation, and safety
  • Conduct integrated planning, scheduling, risk management and estimation of engineering activities
  • Mentor and advise fellow engineers to achieve milestones and objectives
  • Maintain financial awareness of budget and expenditures
  • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with all staff and stakeholders
