Based out of Brisbane’s CBD, you’re first assignment will be to support a major greenfield rail project in South East Queensland. This next stage of work involves delivering new dual-track rail, tunnels, stations and stabling infrastructure, a largescale expansion that will help shape the region’s long-term transport network. About the role As Principal SESA (Requirements Engineer), you’ll lead the requirements management and systems assurance approach across the project, ensuring all technical, safety and operational requirements are clearly defined, tracked and achieved. You’ll work closely with engineering, design and project teams to establish robust processes for requirements capture, verification and validation, aligned with project, client and regulatory expectations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive requirements strategy, assurance planning and stakeholder alignment, helping ensure the project delivers safe, compliant and fully verified systems from day one. Key responsibilities Lead requirements management across the project, including capture, tracking and compliance. Develop and implement requirements management plans and processes. Drive verification and validation (V&V) planning, execution and reporting. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered. Strong background in requirements management, V&V and compliance frameworks. Experience delivering on major rail or infrastructure projects. Knowledge of systems engineering standards (eg ISO 15288, EN 50126/8/9). Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
