ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and drive digital innovation.
The Senior Manager, Development and Digital Products reviews, analyses and develops the organisation’s business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.
This role will lead a team of Business Analysts, Developers and third-party organisations to collaboratively deliver exceptional customer experiences you will ensure NSWTG systems are fit for both today and the digital future. The position requires a commitment to service delivery and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

As the Senior Manager, Development and Digital Products, you will:

  • Provide advice about the feasibility and suitability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance by providing plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Lead and manage a team to provide customer focused services through the development of platforms and products.
  • Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration, the exchange of information and issues management to build on existing relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define business requirements and trends to enable informed business decisions and service level improvements.
  • Assume technical responsibility for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards and achievement of documented requirements
  • Design and execute acceptance testing to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application.
  • Provide on-going 3rd level support of developed applications to reduce the impact of application defects and related incidents.
