Context:
The Opportunity:
Our Infrastructure Engineering team is looking for several Structural and Geotech Engineers with detailed design experience (essential) for rail and track projects around Australia (Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane).
Missions/Main Duties:

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support design of rail structures ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Conduct structural analysis of rail infrastructure using engineering software.
  • Select appropriate materials for structural components, considering durability, cost, and maintenance.
  • Ensure designs meet relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers for integrated project solutions.
  • Plan and supervise geotechnical site investigations to assess ground conditions.
  • Design foundations, slopes, retaining walls, and geotechnical components for rail tracks.
  • Analyse soil-structure interaction, considering rail-induced vibrations and dynamic loading.
  • Design track geometry, alignment, and drainage systems for optimal performance and safety.
  • Manage design program, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
