EOT CRANE ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Ø Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at varied customer locations, as directed.
Ø Execute the planned preventative maintenance.
Ø Ensure that daily inspections are completed to standard and documented.
Ø Conduct on site-electrical, basic Electronics troubleshooting to determine the cause for equipment malfunction or failure.
Ø Must be capable of understanding electrical drawings, GA and other drawings.
Ø Should be familiar with Motor working, contactors, relay working, VFD parameter setting.
Ø Must be familiar with power cables, control cables, its descriptions.
Ø Complete service reports and other documents in neat, professional and legible manner as per Client standards.
Ø Maintain regular communication with Site Supervisor/Service Engineer
Ø Maintain all company issued assets in a safe and proper working order. Operate tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Ø Other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Engineer.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. This position requires frequent climbing, balancing, crouching and overhead reaching. This position requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling and crawling.
2. Must be willing and able to work at height.
3. Must be capable of working in environment exposed to heat, cold, noise and heights.

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or ITI in Electrical

EXPERIENCE:

2-3 or more years of Experience in Electrical Crane including JIB, Overhead, Goliath, Semi-Goliath Cranes, Rack and pinion elevator experience -Maintenance, Repair, Installation, Troubleshooting of material handling equipment’s.
