It is located in the newly built Crystal Springs Tower. The Crystal Springs Tower is a 400,000-square-foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and is the home of our Cardiovascular Institute and an expanded Emergency Department. What we do: Some of the complex therapies/treatments performed include: · Procedures: Pacemaker, ICD Defibrillator, leadless pacemaker, subcutaneous ICD, CRRT Device, Implantable loop recorder, and Cardioversion · EP Studes for Arrhythmias · Ablations: Atrial fibrillation and Ventricular Fibrillation ablation, Cryoballoon ablation, and Radiofrequency ablation · Treatments for Conditions: Arrhythmias, Atrial fibrillation, Atrial Flutter, Supraventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Tachycardia, and Ventricular Fibrillation What We Require: Education: Graduate of Allied Health Profession School (RTR, RT) Experience: Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology experience preferred. Licensure/Certifications/Registration: Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCIS or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist, RCES or Radiologic Technologist, Registered, RT(R), or Registered Respiratory Therapist, RRT or Certified Respiratory Therapist, CRT. Life Support: AHS BLS-HCP required. Required to obtain/maintain AHABLS based on specific work unit. Must successfully complete AHA ACLS within six months of hire date and maintain current status. Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamworking skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.
